Designers Shweta Shill & Pankaj Kumar – The Call of Khadi

The approach is to give traditional craft khadi a contemporized form for future global fashion market. The concept is to bring khadi and promote the handicraft sector globally & to make it a worthy style statement although being simple. Reviving it with its content of simplicity and comfort it is shaped through Indian-western cuts and Indian surface details and material variations in our collection.

Designer Anjali Rai – Everything this and that

Simplicity, comfort and easy to wear clothing as well as light shades of purity and a pinch of colour make the day easy going and fun filled .The collection has a touch of bohemian; dignifying carefree attitude. There’s white layer on fluid silhouettes for a draped effect with loose-fitting cuts. The key to sartorial success is proportion: oversized layers can look messy. Flower power takes a decidedly more mature turn in the form of appliqué and vertical, horizontal or diagonal; there’s no way to avoid stripes. The collection consists of embroidered light weight cotton fabrics for a more easy and comfortable wear.

This Designers inspiration is a nature scenic photo which represents the nature in a very colorful and beautiful way! The photo shows the different phases we see in a day like night, morning, evening and afternoon.  The different colors in the photo will be used in the garments combined in a way which doesn’t make it look too natural but soothing to eyes with perfect combinations.

Designer Umesh P Joshi – ARZU (DESIRE)

Today’s fabrics come from a variety of sources–different animals, plants, minerals or artificial processes- Most of the time, we wear one, the other or a combination of both types of fabric without noticing the difference, but in certain situations, it’s good to know your fabric. This label defines a Rare Combination of natural fabric and bit influences of artificial fabric. The collection is combined with neutral colour palette  Gold,Brocade,zari fine silk and opulent embroidery fabric are made of finely Woven silk, Banarasi silk and are decorated with artificial fabric to intricate design. Its special characteristic is the Kasuti work traditionally made on dress wear like Ilka saris and Kanchivaram saris. Kasuti is a traditional form of embroidery practiced in the state of Karnataka.

Designer Archana Kochhar – Bridal Sutra

The designer’s collection Bridal Sutra is inspired by the richness of the country. It is an amalgam of the rich and diverse cultures with the vibrant and vivid colors of today. The collection flows in the range of heavy exquisite lehengas, Sherwanis, Anarkalis and Saris lavishly fabricated. The fabrics used are rich and restricted to silk, brocade, satin, velvet, georgette, net and chiffon. The color palette ranges from ivory, black, royal blue, bottle green rich gold and shimmery silver which are as majestic as the ensembles. The embellishments used to highlight are traditional and delicate from zardozi to beaded gold work, applique to crystal sprinklers and from heavy jadau to antique gold and silver thread work. The lush embroidery blends in strikingly and delightfully with the different cultures. When it is traditional glamour that a bride and groom wants with a distinct Indian yet modern twist, then this collection has the perfect key to suit this seasons bridal festivities.
