Shubangagi Pandey & Mandeep Litt: Typography

The concept TYPOGRAPHY runs around the inspiration taken from the basic element of literature, “Alphabet” which gives form to a word. Picking up the alphabets from the English literature and extending its contribution towards the style the collection revolves around the story of a child suffering from DYSLEXIA. With Lack of connectivity or confusion being the mood of the collection, the preferred tone of the color palette is a major contrast being black and white. This also relates to the psychological contrast world of a dyslexic student to  the remaining strength of  children. The inspiration in form of jumbled words is charted via majorly hand performed surface techniques, and laser cutting, digital printing on semi formal western silhouettes experimenting with a semi structured contemplation. To accessorize the collection are handmade accentuated watches, bags & totes on the concept of recycling!
